Snow...Snow...and yet more snow

We took Logan out in the snow to play this morning! He seemed to enjoy it.

Logan is trying to play Guitar Hero like mommy and daddy!!! He was really holding it the correct way!!

Santa

Logan had his picture taken with Santa several times this year! The first time he was not thrilled and then the second time he did not want to sit by him at all. Santa bribbed him with a candy cane!!

ER Trip

Logan pulled a glass stocking holder down on his head and we had to take him to the ER to have his head glued together. He had a 1 inch gash in his forehead. Crazy kid was back to his normal self right after it happened. He is fine now, his head is almost healed over, he is going to have a scar on his head though.

Logan had fun gutting his pumpkin with mommy and daddy, he was only interest for about 5 minutes. He LOVED coloring his pumpkin and then was crying when he was done because he wanted to get down and not have another picture taken!!

Doctor appt

Logan had his 1 year check up and shots on Monday. He is 21 pounds...triple his birth weight!! He is doing good. Logan is 30 inches long. He is doing great and the doc says he is right on target, I guess Brandon and I are doing something right!! Haha

Logan is 1!

I can not believe Logan is 1. His party went very well. We did get rained on, but it was still a success! I want to thank everyone for coming. The gifts were great! Logan got some money, a dvd player for the car, movies to go with the dvd player! He got lots of clothes! Yea, we needed those. Logan also got blocks, a leapfrog toy, a refridgerator phonics, a vaccuum, and Curious George toys. He also got a basketball game for the bath, and a giant ball. And I am sure I am forgetting something, Logan is having fun playing with his new toys. Once again Thanks to everyone!

This is Logans new do!! He went spikey after he ate lunch today! I thought it was hilarious and had to share with all of you!!

So on Friday July 6 Logan started doing something that I thought was just babble at first. He was going around saying D...A...D...DAD!! over and over. When Brandon got home I told him what happened and then Logan started doing it again, and has been ever since....He is not even 1 yet and he is spelling.....I think I may have a spelling bee champ on my hands!! Haha!!

Bubby went Boom!!!!!

Logan had an encounter with the hard wood floor!! He is walking now and not to steady on his feet, well he went to jump on the bean bag chair and fell off and hit the floor...We had to go to the ER and they sent us home and said give Tylenol...well today he was not doing any better, so we took him to the doctor and they checked him over VERY well and said that he looks worse than he really is. So he is puffy and sore!!!

Logan was being silly and was sticking his tongue out at me and pointing like he loves to do.

Walking

Ok....So I mentioned earlier that Logan was trying to walk, well, 2 weeks ago he took off and is totally walking now. I dont know...he is just getting so big so fast. Well Logan is doing much better now that we have been on the nebulizer. He is not 100% but he is getting there.

Well as some of you may know already, Logan has been trying to walk. Yes, I know, it seems like he is to small to be doing that now. Well, today he walked from about half way thru the kitchen to the play room!!! I got it on video too!!! It is so exciting!! When he finally fell down he started clapping his hands and laughing!!! He is getting so big.......

Logan and the Easter Bunny

Logan really didn't know what was going on. He had just woke up from a brief nap in the car and I handed him off to the bunny!!! We could not get him to smile! It still turned out great though. Happy Easter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Logans ear surgery

Logan had his tubes put in on Wednesday. He did really well. He was a little fussy when we got to come home, but they said that he would be until the anesthesia wore off. He is playing and babbling. Occasionally he will say DAD and when he is in bed and wants me he will yell MAMA!!!! He is growing so fast. I cant believe the things he is doing. When Logan is on his tummy he can get to a sitting position! He is trying to stand up. In the crib Logan is pulling up almost standing by himself. His legs are still a little shaky, but it wont be long and he will be walking. I just wanted to put an update on here.

He's got a smile that it seems to me reminds me of childhood memories where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky now and then when I see his face he takes me away to that special place and if I'd stare too long I'd probably break down and cry Sweet child o' mine Sweet love of mine he's got eyes of the bluest skies as if they thought of rain I hate to look into those eyes and see an ounce of pain his hair reminds me of a warm safe place where as a child I'd hide and pray for the thunder and the rain to quietly pass me by Sweet child o' mine Sweet love of mine Where do we go Where do we go now Where do we go Sweet child o' mine
