Christmas with the Campbells!

We had our Christmas with Gina and Dennis this past Saturday! Logan had sooo much fun! He got a TON of things from mamaw and papaw!

Thanksgiving

It was so nice to get to see everyone at Thanksgiving. We have not seen everyone is a while.

Trick or treat!

Logan had a blast trick or treating! The weather was awesome! He did tons better than we imagined. He saw some scary monsters and walked by them and even talked to them! Needless to say the scary monsters were the talk of the evening! Lets see how Christmas goes!!!!

redecorate

Logan decided he wanted to redecorate his room instead of take a nap...Thank goodness for mr clean magic erasers!!!

Bowling

Logans friend had a birthday party and they went bowling! Logan bowled a 133!!!!

Sleeping Better

Last "real" post I made about Logan was about him having night terrors and sleep walking. I guess it took going to the doctor and talking about it, because he is doing much better now! He still wakes up several times during the night to make sure there are no 'Monsters' in his room. Things are improving though!! I am so thankful. Logan has not been sleep walking either. I am so glad for that. Brandon and I both slept walked as kids...Ready to Halloween, trying to get over the fear of going outside in the dark and of Halloween stuff in general! I guess we shall see in a few weeks how he is doing!

Helper Monkey!

Logan had a car bed...well, it fell apart on us, so, we had to call upon Mamaw and Papaw...They brought Logan a new bed! He was so excited to get a new bed that he wanted to help sweep his bedroom floor! I must say, I think I found a new job for my little Helper Monkey! He did a good job!

BATMAN!!!

Logan is going to be BATMAN for Halloween this year!! He is so excited...he keeps walking around with his pumpkin bucket saying "Trick or Treat" and "NaNaNa BATMAN" IT is quite funny!!

I have not updated on anything in a while. There has been a lot going on with Logan. First, Logan would throw these awful fits when waking up from naps. There was one that I don't think I will ever forget. This is how it went...

Logan woke up from nap, and I told him I was on the couch and to come sit with me. He just started screaming. I walk into his room to see what was wrong, and the look on his face, I will never forget. He had no clue who I was, his eyes were glassy, he was white as a ghost, and he was trying to hit me! I walked over to him and picked him up and sat on his bed with him, and Logan proceeded to punch me in the face and scream at me. He was trying to 'fight something' off of him. I laid him in his bed, covered him up, and left his room. I called Brandon at work to ask him what I should do, and he had no idea, by this time, I am crying, because I don't know how to help him. I called my mom and asked her what I should do, and she had no idea either. I hung up the phone, and I hear the water running in the bathroom. I walk in the bathroom and Logan has the HOT water on full blast with his hands under it...just standing there. I simply said "bubby what are you doing?" and he immediately fell to the floor and started screaming again. I picked him up and took him to his room, tucked him in bed, and closed the door. He came out of his room about a half hour later and came running to me and saying "mommy!" and gave me a huge hug.

Logan has had several episodes like this, I finally called the doctor and made an appointment, for several things. 1 he had an ear infection that needed checked on, 2 he had a terrible diaper rash, 3 he has been biting other kids, as well as other kids, and me, 4 he has been having these spells when he sleeps.

The visit to the doctor went well...Logan still has an ear infection, but it is clearing up. The biting is a phase that they say he will grow out of, and these episodes that he has been having is Night Terrors and Sleep Walking...There is nothing we can do about either one, just keep him safe when he is freaking out. They are passed down through genes too. Brandon and I both slept walked as kids...Poor kid has it in for him! Things are getting better! Jalapeno Peppers is my poison when Logan bites! He HATES them! When ever he bites, he has to lick a pepper. All I have to ask is..Do I need to go to the freezer? And he runs away covering his mouth saying NO NO NO....BUT, no more biting either!

All is good otherwise! More updates soon. I will have pics soon too!!!

2 years baby!!!

We made it to 2!! LOL!!! Logan is 2!! I just cant believe it...it really dont seem like he should be that old...my baby is getting all big....

Logan had a 2 year check up on Tuesday and everything went great! He is in the 50th percentile....28 pounds and 35 1/2 inches long and his head is 19 inches! The doctor was quite impressed with how well he speaks!

Visit to the doctor

Logan and I were going for a walk with my friend Kelsey and I look at Logan and he had blood coming out of his ear...I looked at Kels and told her we need to get back ASAP....we were about 7 1/2 blocks away from her house, so we booked it like we never walked before.....We finally made it to her house, and I called Brandon and told him to meet me at the doctor because Logan had blood coming out of his ear. All day long he had his finger in his ear, so at first we thought that he may have had something stuck in there and it cut him, but we could not see anything. the doc finally came in the room and examined him...boy was that fun....Not really...he told us that yep there def. was blood in there....well yeah silly, thats why we are here.....I mean come on now...any way....we then told the doctor about us going camping and that Logan fell in and that he has tubes in his ears....Because he has tubes and he fell into the icky lake...he got an ear infection...and a bad one...so now Logan has to be on ammoxicillian and I have to give him ear drops...I feel so bad, because I have to sit on him to get the drops in. Brandon is going to have a fun time doing that after I have my surgery....Gina and Dennis have to tackle him down too!!! LOL LOL....thats mean, but funny too!!! HAHA.....Thats about all thats going on here..we have to take him to see his doctor on the 5th for his 2 year check up, so I will post then too.....

Camping!

We went camping again this weekend at Summit Lake! Logan really has a lot of fun when we go there. He loves being on the boat and going fishing.

New Car Bed

Can you tell he was excited to see his new bed?!?!?! It was the funniest thing ever!!! He is officially a big boy now with a big boy bed!!!

Logan LOVES to swim! He was a little afraid at first, but then he loved it and didnt want to get out!!

My cousin and I took our kids to a new place in New Castle called Bounce About. They had 5 inflatable jumping things like you see at the fair...the kids had a blast!!!

Riley Hospital

We took Logan to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis on Monday May 12, because his eye crosses in toward his nose. He was seen by a few doctors, and they told us that he is fine, they didnt see his eye cross. Well they then said that the bridge of his nose is very wide and he will grow into it....So, he is going to be fine!!!

Bath time..

Need I say more???? My child is a goof ball. He loves to take a bath!!! It was so funny to watch him play in bubbles....I just had to share with everyone!!!
